Create a front porch wreath and use this one for inspiration!
A wreath with summer seasonal accents is the perfect way to greet your summer guests. Pairing cool, light colors like teal and tan for ribbons will keep you feeling comfortable all year round! You can’t go wrong by adding some natural colored elements and a few sprigs of white flowers on a medium sized branch. A natural colored sign with a cute simple saying compliments the wreath-it’s enough to make any outdoor space live up to its name “front porch.”
Well what doesn’t say summer more than a piece of watermelon!
You can find many signs with watermelons or these same colors. Lots of complimentary ribbons, too. I am sure you already have some in your ribbon stash. This wreath has a deco mesh base in red, but use what you have on your shelf. White, green or even pink. Adding a little black striped ribbon is fun, too! Totally a Summer wreath.
The whimsical design of this bee wreath is sure to attract attention. Black and white deco mesh was used for the base, but again, use what you have. Black, white or yellow. If you are like me, we have to create these DIY wreaths to use up our supplies, so we can buy more!
Look at all the different style ribbons you can combine. Stripes, polka dots, checks, bees etc. The bee sign is cute, too. Hard to decide what I like best in this wreath. How about you?
Do you need a little more sun and sand in your life? Then create and display an inspiring beach themed wreath in your home to bring that coastal look into every room. When I made this wreath, there were a few leftover pieces from another project. So instead of wasting them or feeling guilty for not using all my supplies like some people might do in such circumstances, I decided to use what was already available and make something new out it!
Teal and tan deco mesh and ribbons are summer-beach colors. You can also always find cute beachy signs in gift shops and that is where I found this one. Always be on the look out for signs. The star fish and sand dollars make this look complete. And yes, I am always crabby!
